REGULATIONS

VAMAS INTERACTIVE PROGRAM – 2015
PURPOSE: VAMAS INTERACTIVE PROGRAM

(abbreviated as CTTT. VAMAS) is an ACTIVITIES directly under the association of VIETNAMESE ASSISTANCE & SERVICE (abbreviated as VAMAS).
This Program is established for the purpose of Supporting the Member’s family both mentally and physically when the Member passes away.

Material Assistance
Each time a Member dies, the Beneficiary will receive an amount based on the TOTAL MEMBERSHIP OF THE EXISTING INTERACTIVE PROGRAM.

Spiritual Support
The Visitation Department visits the deceased Member and family at the funeral home. If requested by the family of the recently deceased member, the Executive Board will assist with the procedures and funeral home for the deceased.

Membership requirements

CONDITIONS FOR JOINING

  • Must be a VAMAS Member, (Must pay monthly Nguyet Liem fee)
  • Must fill out the application form to join the VAMAS Mutual Program and must be present at the Office when applying to join.
  • If necessary, the BOM will check the HEALTH STATUS of the litigant.
  • There is an ENROLLMENT FEE of $10.00.
  • Will be OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED to the VAMAS Mutual Program after participating and fulfilling the mission for 12 months.
  • Must select BENEFITS ( two or at least one person ) .

DUTIES

  • If the Member does not pay the Mutual Fees 5 times (When 5 Mutual Students pass away), THAT MEMBER’S NAME will be removed from the LIST TEMPORARYLY. After 30 days, if that member has not paid the TT Fee, it will be considered as: AUTOMATICALLY WITHDRAWING FROM CTTT.VAMAS and will forfeit all INTERACTIVE BENEFITS and will have to REFUND THE LOOKING AMOUNT.
  • To RE-JOIN, must do all the procedures and conditions as a new member. That means you have to fill out the membership form, pay the joining fee and have to wait 12 months to OFFICIALLY JOIN.
  • Each member can only re-join ONE time. In special cases, must be considered and approved by the Executive Board.
  • In special cases, there is a good reason, after being approved by the Executive Board, the member wants to return to CTTT. VAMAS, which must pay back all balances owed, must be present at the Association Office and must wait 12 months to OFFICIALLY JOIN.

BENEFITS

When the OFFICIAL member dies, the beneficiary will receive an amount: called the Total Mutual Fund, equal to 80% of the Total Receivable Amount (based on the total number of existing Mutual Mutual members)

Example:

If a member officially dies, total TT members are 850 people, then:

Total Proceeds: $10 X 850 = 8,500.

Total Mutual Amount is : 8,500 X 80% = 6,800.

In case a member dies before 12 months, the benefits will be determined as follows:

1. After 3 months ( 90 days ) to 6 months (179 days ) are entitled to 25% of the Total Amount.

2. After 6 months ( 180 days ) to 9 months (269 days ) are entitled to 50% of the Total Amount.

3. After 9 months ( 270 days ) to 12 months (364 days ) are entitled to 75% of the Total Sacrifice Amount.

You have the right to ask the Executive Board for help with administrative procedures and funeral homes for the deceased. After becoming a Full Member, due to circumstances having to move out of the city, state, etc., if desired, the Member can continue to stay in the Reciprocity Program with the condition that they notify the local office with the new address and phone number as well as a full contribution of the Mutual Fees. The beneficiary of Mutual Fund will be received by check of VAMAS Association.

ORGANIZATION

The Mutual Program is managed by the Head of the Mutual Affairs Department (under the Executive Board of VAMAS Association).
The Chairman of the Mutual Assistance Committee is nominated by the current President of VAMAS and approved by a majority of the Board of Directors of VAMAS.
The Head of the Mutual Affairs Department is responsible for:

  1. Receive the application to join, collect money for mutual benefit.
  2. Report the number of members paying the late payment of Mutual Fees (violation of PRINCIPLES)
  3. Report the total number of existing T. Te members to the Board of Directors before each VAMAS

Procedure for receiving mutual money:

  1. The beneficiary or family must notify the Team Leader for the Team Leader to report to the Board of Directors.
  2. Make Mutual Voucher and sign check for the beneficiary.
  3. The Board of Directors and Visitation Department visit the funeral home to visit the deceased member and will give the check to the beneficiary.
  4. The beneficiary must submit the Original Death certificate within 10 days.
  5. In case of death in Vietnam or elsewhere, the beneficiary must submit a picture of the deceased HV’s funeral.

Today is the 24th day Of February Two Thousand Fifteen, VAMAS BOARD OF DIRECTORS vote to approve this VAMAS MUTUAL ASSISTANCE POLICY. This is the ONLY VAMAS MUTUAL ASSISTANCE POLICY; it will be effective immediatly to all members.
